Kurzbeschreibung:
The band was founded in 2008 as a three-piece called “My Dear Sir Singing Club” by Alex (guitar), Flo (bass guitar & vocals back then), and Passi (drums), playing rather classical Hard Rock. Later that year, Jacky joined as a bass player, giving Flo the possibility to grab the 2nd guitar slot. While undergoing some changes in line-up and naming, the band also changed it’s musical direction to a rather thrash metal-oriented style. In spring 2010, the line-up was finally completed by HaGü who came to fill in the vacant vocalist slot. While playing some gigs and writing some new music, the band (then called “She Gave Me a Rainbow”) put high effort into the finding of a new band name that might do the sound and style justice. Finally, a decision could be made – so never mind She Gave Me a Rainbow, ’cause here’s THE GLORIA SCOTT!
